Piattelli celebrated Malbec World Day today by continuing to harvest malbec grapes and worked toward creating an excellent vintage. Malbec is considered as the best wine in Argentina which makes it to be called "Queen of Argentina Wines".

As of today, the harvest of one of our best Argentina Wines, Torrontés harvest of 2012 has begun! The Salta vineyards have matured nicely and we look forward to the coming vintage. Click to see video of our workers selecting the grapes in the winery.

Soon we will be clarifying our 2011 Premium vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon, a unique wine in Argentina. The process takes time as the natural sediment must settle to the bottom of the barrels before this Argentina wine is extracted, blended, and bottled.

The time has come to begin our harvest of our Argentina Wines! In Salta, the Malbec grapes have ripened before the rest of our varietals, so Alejandro and his team began the harvesting this morning.

Our Mendoza Winery hosts wine blending classes for Argentina Wines every Friday for tour groups. The guests are instructed by our sommelier and tourism director, Diego Marcos Salguero. The judged winner receives a gift.

In January, our vineyards were busy with winemakers tasting grapes and vineyard workers performing some final maintenance to our Argentina wines. We are getting close to harvest time, so everyone is very excited about harvesting the best wine in Argentina

In our newly purchased vineyard called Villa Cochabamba famous for the best wine in Argentina, near our Mendoza Winery, we have been working on clearing out the old wines. The soil is ready for us to plant our own premium argentina wines.

In Salta, Summer is in full swing. Through December of 2011, Alejandro and our team were busy maintaining and protecting the argentina wines. There has been an unnatural amount of rain, so they've been keeping the wines protected against rot and fungus.
